Where To Stay
BLM Camping - Primitive camping on BLM land is available up river and down river from Maupin. These are first come first serve sites and can fill up quickly on summer weekends. For overnight groups there is camping at the Trout Creek boat launch and at Mecca Flats near the Warm Springs boat launch. For lower river trips Twin Springs Campground is a few miles down river from the Buck Hollow boat launch.
Camping in Maupin - The City Park takes reservations for RV's and tent camping and is located right along the river in town. The Oasis has a campground in town and some cabins for rent. Both fill up quickly on summer weekends so call ahead.
Hotels and Motels - In Maupin, the River Run Lodge, Deschutes Motel, and Imperial are all good options for a nice room for the night. For people wanting a hotel near Warm Springs or Trout Creek the town of Madras or Kah-Nee-Ta resort are the two closest places to stay to the upper river boat launches.
